Your First Day — Start Using SellerForge WMS
Import your catalog, generate bin locations, and run your first pick, pack and ship.
Congratulations! Your integrations are connected. Now it's time to get to work. This guide shows what to do in your first hour.
Time needed: 30-60 minutes (depends on catalog size).
1. Sync Your Catalog (Amazon SKUs)
The fastest way to start is to import your existing products from Amazon.
If You Sell on Amazon
- In SellerForge WMS, go to Catalog → Import from Amazon
- You'll see a list of your Amazon products with:
- ASIN
- SKU
- Title
- Current stock on Amazon
- Image
- Click Select All (or choose specific products)
- Click Import
- The app will:
- Copy SKU, title, image
- Create a product record in SellerForge WMS
- Sync current inventory
Takes 5-10 minutes for large catalogs (1,000+ products).
If You Don't Sell on Amazon (eBay/Walmart only)
- Go to Catalog → Add Product
- Fill in:
- SKU Code: A unique code (ex.: "SHIRT-BLUE-M")
- Title: Product name
- Description: Details
- Cost Price: How much you pay your supplier
- Sale Price: How much you want to sell for
- Image: Upload product photo
- Click Save
You can import multiple products at once using a CSV file (click Import CSV).
2. Review Unlinked Products
If you have accounts on multiple channels (Amazon, eBay, Walmart), there may be duplicate products (same product with different SKUs on each channel).
- Go to Catalog → Unlinked
- You'll see products that might be the same:
- "Blue Shirt M" on Amazon (ASIN B1234)
- "Blue Shirt M" on eBay (ID 9876543)
- They're probably the SAME product
- Click Link next to each one
- The app will consolidate both into one SKU in SellerForge WMS
- Now, when you update price or inventory for one SKU, it updates across all channels
This saves a lot of time later (no need to update each channel separately).
3. Generate Bin Locations
If you already have a physical stock (garage, storage room), SellerForge WMS needs to know where each product is.
What is a Bin?
A "bin" is a physical location in your warehouse. The standard convention is:
Z1-R1-L1-B1
├─ Z = Zone (room/section: Z1, Z2, Z3...)
├─ R = Row: R1, R2, R3...)
├─ L = Level (height: L1, L2, L3...)
└─ B = Bin (specific compartment: B1, B2, B3...)Example: You have a garage with:
- 1 zone (Zone 1 = the whole garage)
- 3 rows (Row 1 = left shelf, Row 2 = middle shelf, Row 3 = right shelf)
- 2 levels per row (Level 1 = top shelf, Level 2 = bottom shelf)
- 2 bins per level (Bin 1 and Bin 2)
That gives you: Z1-R1-L1-B1, Z1-R1-L1-B2, Z1-R1-L2-B1, etc.
How to Set Up
- In SellerForge WMS, go to Warehouse → Locations
- Click Generate Locations
- Fill in:
- Zones: 1 (one garage is usually one zone)
- Rows per Zone: 3 (3 shelves)
- Levels per Row: 2 (2 shelves)
- Bins per Level: 2 (2 compartments)
- Click Generate
Done! You have 12 locations (1 × 3 × 2 × 2 = 12 bins).
4. Print Bin Labels
Now you need to put physical labels on your bins to make them easy to find.
- In SellerForge WMS, go to Warehouse → Locations
- You'll see the list of generated bins: Z1-R1-L1-B1, Z1-R1-L1-B2, etc.
- Click Print Labels
- Choose:
- Size: Standard label (4x6 or A4)
- Format: Barcode + readable text
- Click Print
- Print on adhesive paper or regular paper + tape
- Stick the labels on your physical bins
Now each location is marked.
5. First Inventory Entry
Now you'll record how many products you already have in your warehouse.
Option A: With Scanner (Fast)
If you have a barcode scanner:
- In SellerForge WMS, go to Inventory → Quick Entry
- Take each product from your shelf
- Scan the SKU
- Type the quantity
- Click Enter / Next
- The app saves automatically
Option B: With Phone Camera (No Scanner)
If you don't have a scanner, you can use your phone's camera:
- Print a barcode for each SKU (you can generate this in SellerForge WMS: Catalog → Print Codes)
- Stick the code on the product (or the box)
- In SellerForge WMS, go to Inventory → Quick Entry
- Click the camera icon
- Point at the barcode on the product
- The app reads it automatically
- Type the quantity
- Click Enter
Option C: No Technology (Slower)
If you don't have a scanner and don't want to use a camera:
- In SellerForge WMS, go to Inventory → Quick Entry
- In the SKU list, find each product manually
- Type the quantity
- Click Enter
Takes longer, but it works.
6. Your First Pick & Pack
"Pick" = grab the product from the shelf. "Pack" = package it for shipping.
Pick (Grab)
- An order arrives (from Amazon, eBay, or Veeqo)
- In SellerForge WMS, go to Orders
- You'll see the order with:
- Customer
- Items ordered (with SKU)
- Where they are (Bin)
- Click Pick
- The app shows:
- Which bin to go to (ex.: Z1-R2-L1-B1)
- Which product to grab
- How many
- Go to the bin, grab the quantity, scan it (or confirm manually)
- Put it in the picking cart
Pack (Package)
- After all items are in the cart, click Pack
- The app shows:
- Recommended box dimensions
- Weight
- Recipient (address)
- Package the product
- Click Generate Label
- SellerForge WMS generates the shipping label (via Veeqo, Amazon Shipping, Walmart, etc.)
- Stick the label on the box
- Click Shipped
- Done! Tracking starts automatically
7. Read the Profit Dashboard
Now you want to know if you're making money.
- On the SellerForge WMS home screen, you'll see the Profit Dashboard
- It shows:
Gross Sales: $10,000 (-) Cost of Goods: -$3,500 (-) Fees (Amazon/eBay/Walmart): -$1,200 (-) Shipping: -$800 = Net Profit: $4,500
- Gross Sales: Everything you received from customers
- COGS (Cost of Goods Sold): How much you paid suppliers for the products you sold
- Fees: Amazon (15%), eBay (12%), etc. commissions
- Shipping: How much you spent on postage/freight
Click on each section to see details:
- Which products had the most profit
- Which channels are most profitable
- Which period was best
Troubleshooting
"Inventory isn't syncing"
Cause: The integration may not be 100% connected. Solution: Go back to Settings → Integrations and click "Test Connection" again for each channel.
"I can't scan barcodes"
Cause: Scanner disconnected or phone camera without permission. Solution: In SellerForge WMS → Settings → Devices, enable camera permissions.
"Bin won't save"
Cause: Inconsistent data or temporary error. Solution: Try again. If it persists, clear browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete).
"Shipping label isn't generating"
Cause: Addresses may not be syncing correctly. Solution: Check that Veeqo and the channel (Amazon/eBay/Walmart) have the customer address. Try regenerating.
You're ready to go!
Next steps:
- Track orders in the Orders Dashboard
- Set up Telegram alerts (already done above)
- Use the Repricer to auto-adjust prices (if you connected Amazon)
- Create new listings with Create Listing (if you connected eBay/Walmart)
